Profile verification
- Selected domain/entity/object/term definitions are topics. A link between two selected topics is internal; exactly one selected topic is an external link. Foreign context must be directly linked to a topic.
- Internal links are assoc only. Require one topic root and no internal cycles. A topic may have at most one incoming selected relationship in total, including external links and duplicate links from the same parent. Explicit root must be the actual topic root.
- Incoming and outgoing internal branches use opposite horizontal sides; the centre may have outgoing branches on both sides. Topic attachments never use top or bottom except a single incoming external link to the centre, which may attach at its top or bottom. Distinct attachments are evenly spaced along each occupied side.
- Internal curves avoid crossings in automatic tree placement and have no relation types, names, numbers or legend entries. Only external relationships can create a legend.
- The existing relation appearance route.source_side east/west can choose a root branch side. Omission alternates root branches; descendants continue outward.
- Selected topics in the designer expose equally spaced circular add-left/add-right/delete/edit-name/note controls below the body. Add-left is available at the root or with incoming on the right; add-right is available at the root or with incoming on the left. The viewer and exports omit editing controls.
- External links use existing native DDN role/endpoint contracts, retain applicable labels/legend entries and do not affect internal topic root or cycle counts. Incoming external links still count toward the single-incoming-relation limit.
- Incompatible authored pins/routes are diagnosed when attachment and noncrossing constraints cannot be satisfied. Top/bottom is permitted only on the target of an incoming external link to the unique internal root.
